The Cherokee Sales Co. team embraces the history and tradition started in 1970 by the founders Ray and Imogene Smith and they look forward to building on that legacy. The Cherokee Sales Co. team is passionate about the cattle industry. They work tirelessly to keep up with current trends and most importantly, building relationships with the cattle producers and maximizing their profits.
Our mission is to build a community of customers, buyers and industry affiliates who can work together to improve each other's operations as well as the beef industry as a whole. One of the programs Cherokee Sales Co has created, the Cherokee Certified Program, is the epitome of that mission. The program is based around a vaccination and weaning protocol, verified by Cherokee Sales Co, that allow buyers to have more confidence in buying calves that have a better chance of remaining healthy and therefore allowing the seller to capture the head dollars associated with their extra efforts.
